AP Vertical Teams® Guide for Music Theory
The purpose of this publication is to provide direction, models, and training to AP Vertical Teams in music theory that will help team members organize a series of productive activities, meetings, and workshops that lead to a comprehensive, coordinated music theory program. The AP Vertical Teams Guide for Music Theory is designed to support the theory that AP Music Theory should not be an isolated course, but rather the culmination of a planned program for teaching skills and concepts over several years. One objective is to develop a continuum of skill building from one grade level to the next. (Recommended for AP teachers and middle and high school teachers.)
