This AP Biology Lab Manual Supplement will provide teachers with suggestions and ideas for making the current 12 AP Biology Labs more inquiry based and modernized.  Suggestions include: strategies for exploring and addressing students’ misconceptions regarding the content in the labs, practical ways for introducing inquiry into lab activities, integrating technology, and how to use applicable web-based resources to enhance lab activities. 

The purpose of this Supplement is to prepare teachers for the upcoming changes in focus and approach to the laboratory experiences which will support the revised AP Biology course.

This Supplement will be distributed with the current AP Biology Lab Manual for Teachers during the summer institutes, and is also available for teachers as a free download from the Course Home Page on AP Central apcentral.collegeboard.com.
